I am especially passionate about service that removes unfair barriers to participation in the institutions of philosophy.

As a graduate student at USC, I chaired the graduate student Climate Committee and served as climate liaison. In these positions, I helped to create new channels of communication between students and faculty about climate concerns.

I also spent a year as co-President of our graduate student organization, representing the philosophy graduate students to the department faculty.

In addition, I co-organized the annual USC-UCLA graduate conference, and twice helped plan the GPS California workshop for undergraduate students who belong to minority groups in the discipline.
