I am a teacher and academic philosopher currently based in Southern California.

As of August 2026, I am a Lecturer at California State University, Northridge (CSUN).

In May 2024, I earned my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Southern California (USC). My dissertation advisor was Jonathan Quong. I was previously a postdoctoral Research Associate at Chapman University's Smith Institute for Political Economy and Philosophy.

The questions that most interest me lie at the intersection of social and political philosophy and metaphilosophy ("philosophy about philosophy"). I also work in ethics and the history of political thought (especially the early modern period).

As an undergraduate, I studied Philosophy and Political Science at Kenyon College. I'm a proud Clevelander.
